Courage is infectious, your courage will inspire others to also embrace the courage within them.
I don’t know about you but when I see or hear of a courageous person, I get so inspired. I tell myself, if they can do it, I can also do it. I get inspired to do what I need to do to achieve the results that they have. You may think that going after your dreams is only about you, no; it is also about the person who needs a push. And the push might just be seeing you achieve what you have because you put in the work, and they get inspired to do so for themselves.
So, don’t be afraid to soar high, you might be the catalyst to someone’s success. I once heard of a story of a certain man who was speaking to a group of people. He shared his own story of how he had the courage to overcome the hurdles in his own life. He kept asking the people he was speaking to, ‘what do you have in your hands?’ Some time went by and a man approaches him and shares with him how after the conference, he picked an old camera that his father had. He started taking pictures with it. After a while, people started inviting him to places to offer his photography services.
This story illustrates how one story of courage can inspire many other stories of courage. So don’t hide, shine your light not just for others to see but for them to be inspired to shine theirs too.
