Poem about BONDS

Poem about BONDS

I met you in my Dm

hi pretty

It was such a time my light was dim

Hi handsome

I weighed my emotions on the beam

And all I could take you for was a healer

For my shattered heart you became it’s filler

Unending affection and attention became my triggers

I took a new journey to unknown destiny with you

So full of hopes and dreams got me sticking to you like glue

I finally met you and my heart turned blue

Your charm and confidence cought me like a flu

They say am a hard one to please

But your presence to my demons was an appease

I was certain that my feelings for you would never cease

It was never in my wildest thoughts that I would no longer give you butterflies

Grey ticks slowly replaced my texts

Best you could do was give me dry replies

I thought it was a face of time

I hoped some space would return your shine

Some you time would make you fine

But how wrong I was

Am still loving you at a distance so long

Trying to glow in greave and stay strong

Situations back to when we met

Maybe if you stay long another one will cast a net

Convince me with an illusional bond

Maybe this cycle is meant to stay

What else is left to say?

Maybe  BONDS is just an illusion
