A police officer from Lang’ata Police Station was arrested by detectives at his rented house in Ongata Rongai on Thursday evening of October 26. Detectives believe that the police has important behind the murder of the 47-Year-old Evans Mochara.The victim was reported abducted by unknown people who took him from his house in Mihang’o estate in October 12. He wasreported missing at the Kayole Police Station and two days later his body was found floating in Maragua dam. The family of Mochara identified his body and confirmed it was him. Detectives farmiliar with the investigations said that the police officer was arrested after his phone data revealed that he was among the last people to communicate to Mochara. Police are yet to find the reason behind Mochara’s murder.
