Basic education principal secretary Belio Kipsang said the government was determined to immortalise the students who died less than two days before sitting their KCPE Exams. He disclosed that the government had set aside Ksh.5 Million to construct a dormitory in honour of the fallen candidates of Arap Moi Primary School. Uasin Gishu governor, Jonathan Chelilim Bii, Alias Koti Moja, endorsed the thoughtful initiative and pledged full support. The government has announced that it will construct a dormitory in honour of five pupils of Arap Moi Primary School who drowned at an amusement park few days before sitting their 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education Examinations.
