This comes after parents decried exploitation from some of the bursary committee members who they say charge them an amount not less than two thousand Kenyan shillings to get the forms.

Mohamed who was speaking at Ang’anga Primary School in God Jope ward while distributing bursary forms for the next year’s term one school fees, promised to deal with anyone found exploiting desperate parents.

The MP has also been on the receiving end from a faction of his constituents and other aspirants who accuse him of going missing after the failed Azimio coalition quest for the country’s leadership when the coalition flag bearer Raila Odinga lost to President Wiliam Ruto.

On his part, Junet said that he is the current MP and he is focused on the course to continue serving his constituents. He mentioned that during his tenure, the constituency has seen inroads being opened to remote areas.He additionally mentioned that so far he has not seen any worthy opponent who can challenge him for the seat come 2027 elections.

The MP tasked the NG_CDF committee with ensuring each primary school in the area receives four new classrooms in the next financial year.
