Kimani won the 2023 Tuko Business Leaders Award under the Kenyan Changemaker in Education category for offering education scholarship programs in Kenya.

He was given the award alongside Darshan Chandaria of Chandaria Group, Joseph Ogutu of Safaricom Foundation, and Mendi Njonjo of KCB Foundation, among others.

TUKO says that the Business Leaders Award honors individuals who have made a positive impact on the lives of Kenyans through their initiatives and the businesses they lead.

The award is designed to pay tribute to CEOs and business leaders who have played a pivotal role in shaping Kenya’s social and economic landscape through transformative projects.

Receiving the award at the Username Head Office in Westlands from Julia Majale, Managing Director of TUKO Media, Kimani expressed his commitment to supporting educational initiatives for bright students from disadvantaged backgrounds under the Affecto Foundation.

Kimani also boasts other accolades, including Realtor Founder of the Year, African Business Personality, Entrepreneur of the Year, and the JKUAT Alumni Achievement Award.
