Winning isn`t always the price

Winning isn`t always the price

If you look closely and listen to your heart, you will realize that winning isn’t always the price. I like winning; who doesn’t? It is the one thing that brings us closer to self actualization. For many people, you will realize you are in the wrong place with the wrong people at the wrong time because you want to conquer your challenges and win. About two years ago, I started to think about what would happen if I chose to lose. What would happen if I decided to choose myself and lose everything that I gave my all? It was a hard decision because intentionally losing is not an easy choice. It took everything I had to let it go, and so I started the process. The healing journey has been interesting. My advice is: do not lose until you are sure you have given it your all. Because in the dark nights, when it’s just you and your thoughts, you will need the peace of knowing there’s nothing more you can do. You will need that for the days when you have no strength to go on. It is easy to heal when you know you lost because you tried everything and it wasn’t enough. Today I have looked back and patted myself because it still remains the best decision I ever made. It wasn’t easy, but trying to win was also harder. Maybe it scares you to make a change; maybe you think you have no strength at all. Here is my testimony: the energy you are using to make it work is way more than what you would use to lose it. Change is hard, but it is the only constant thing about life. Winning isn’t always the price; sometimes losing is the best gift you can give yourself. If you look closely and listen to your heart, you will realize that winning isn’t always the price.
