Courage is the ability to feel fear and still manage to conquer what we need to.

Courage does not in any way mean the absence of fear. It is that you feel the fear and still do what you need to. It may be something scary or even nerve wracking for you. A real fear for you, but you still do what you need to do. Acknowledge that you feel the fear, because it is an emotion. However, don’t let the fear control you. Don’t let it cripple you.

Mark you, people have different fears. There are people who fear the dark and some people don’t they could walk through the darkest of places and not fear anything. Yet if they see blood for example, it sends fear down their spine.

Maybe you are a guy and you would like to approach a lady that you like or find attractive. You may feel fear running down your spine at the thought of approaching her. But that shouldn’t stop you. Feel the fear, acknowledge the fear but do it anyway. It could be the start of something beautiful or you could be rejected. There are two possibilities-a favourable one and a non-favourable one. Either way you try.

Don’t be crippled by fear, if something is going to make you a better person, do it. And if you are afraid to do it for one reason or another, feel the fear, acknowledge that you are afraid and do it any way. Focus on the thoughts of you becoming a better person and not on the fear you feel now.
