Tongue is a very small boneless organ that possess power that we tend to ignore. As the bible says in the book of proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat it’s fruits ” This power was raid freely on us to decide how to use it. Some has used it to curse and others to bless. We leap it’s fruits depending on how we use it. Stories has been told to enlighten, warn, guide and teach but we at times tend to ignore them. Word has been used by parents in different situation that has either cursed or blessed their children.
When we were growing up our class 6 science teacher would always tell us “You children are not serious in your studies you will never go to the city”. Back then going to the city meant a good life. These words made some of us work very hard though some just took it like a joke. Years went by and life after books happened. What bothers me till today is despite this teacher taking her own kids to the best school, they are still roaming in the village. I tend to believe that what she cursed us befell her. I at times feel sorry but I have dolittle that I can do to help.Tongue can be the most destructive weapon on the earth, it’s misuse has damaged more lives than the most powerful weapon of war or disease on the planet. Let’s be wise.
