How to get started and publish articles
- First and foremost, you need to Register for an account or Login in order to access our post page, other wise you will get an error.
- After Registration you can head to the Post articles page by clicking this link. Here you will be able to access the post form.
All the the fields have to be filled. Below is a break down of what the fields mean.
- Post Title – This is the title of your article; what your article entails. It should not be more than 9 words long.
- Post Content – This is where you write the content of your article. Kindly note that it should not be less than 150 words. The longer your article, the more likely our algorithm will push it to more people.
- Category – As mentioned earlier, you can write topics on a wide variety of topics. In this section, a drop down will be provided and you will be required to pick the section in which your article falls under. If you fail to see the category you are looking for, you can just pick the General option.
- Featured image – The featured image is quite important as it appeals to readers. The more interesting your featured image is, the more likely readers are likely to click your article. Kindly ensure that you upload a high resolution image. Below are examples of how featured images are presented to users.
- Website URL – The website url section is optional, but if you have a website you can provide it and after readers are done with your article, they can reach you through the URL you just provided. You can use this portion to promote your website.
- Tags – Just like in most social media platforms, tags are used to sort data and provide accurate articles to readers. For example if you write an article on a mercedes car, your tag could be #mercedesbenz #mercedessclass. You can provide upto 7 tags.
- Email Address – This section is also optional, but you can provide your email so that users can reach you if they are interested in your work.
- Submit – After you are done, just press publish and that’s it.
